What does the lugworm do in winter, how do mussels survive, and where have all the crabs gone? If you want to know whether and how the animals in the Wadden Sea survive the cold season, the best thing to do is to follow one of the mudflat guides who regularly offer expert excursions into the mudflats between November and April.
